Batu Café - Marfori

First of, upon entry, you will be greeted by a bookish aesthetic feel. As well as a bit of touch of vintage. The vibe is really great of a relaxing chill. In this time and day, aesthetics of a place is a plus point, and there's no doubt batu cafe scores in instagrammable. With the service, they have limited staff, i think, or we just went on a less busy hour. But they are very accommodating and well-mannered. With the food, honestly, it was not quite my usual budget. But, when you get to have their serving, you could really say it was worth it. Their food is tasty. I specially liked their mozzarella balls, but note that it is best eaten hot for a more stretchy cheesy experience. Overall, I love the place, the food, and their people.

Remember one old location inside Las Casitas Obrero way back? For me, it’s been that long. This main branch (and only one now) fronts Baristro on the same Circumferential Road. Tiny place with a few parking slots. A lot to choose from on the menu. Poor network signal indoors but having wifi details on the wall was a definite plus for me. It’s just unfortunate the straw was already dunked in my coffee drink. Large servings and even better rates. Attentive staff. Clean place. Swift service.

We’ve tried the Executive Room before for our meetings. They used to have really good way of presentation the food in nice quirky plates. I dunno what happened but they serve now in plastic plates and it feels like a carenderia. No offense, but the old homey ambience is now lacking. But kudos to their cashier who also serves as waitress. Customer service is still on top. Parking area is available infront.
